Returns/Exchanges

Our Guarantee to You at the Home Boutique, we stand behind the quality of our products and will make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. We believe that we can work together with our customers to make every purchase a positive experience. Our deliveries are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply follow the instructions below.

What will The Home Boutique do to correct the problem?

HB will examine the product when it is bought back to our offices. HB will then, at its choice, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In these cases, HB will be responsible for the costs of repairs, spare parts, labour and travel for repair staff that HB incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without HB incurring additional expenditure to gain access. This will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorized by HB. Any defected parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of HB. If the item is no longer sold by HB, HB will provide an appropriate replacement. HB will decide at its discretion, what will constitute an appropriate replacement.

Exclusions

The quality guarantee does not apply to products that have been stored incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. The guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. The guarantees do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or if the products have been used for non-domestic purposes (unless otherwise stated). The guarantee does not cover consequential or incidental damages. The guarantees are to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. They are not transferable. How to reach us if you need service

Contact our HB offices. You will find the address and phone number on the HB website. Save your sales receipt as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for the guarantees to be valid.

Changed your mind?

If you've changed your mind and want to go in another direction with your home after payment, HB will try and help you as much as possible. Some of our items are stocked and some are hand made per order- it is important to let us know in the last case ASAP. We will check the status of your order and refund you all unmade items back onto your card up to 7 days after payment if the piece has not been started. Please note that we do not accept returns on items that have already began production, camvas prints and rugs. At any time, HB reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.
